About Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a four-year B.Tech program in Mechanical Engineering with an annual intake of 60 students, aimed at developing strong engineering fundamentals along with practical and analytical skills required for modern industries. The program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of core mechanical engineering concepts such as thermodynamics, manufacturing processes, machine design, fluid mechanics, and materials engineering, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering problems.

Over the years, the department has expanded its academic offerings with several specialized postgraduate programs. The department is supported by well-equipped laboratories, modern research facilities, and experienced faculty members dedicated to teaching and innovation.
